Grrrrrrrrrrr

I am going to have to go into My daughter's school tomorrow. The catering staff are constantly telling her that if she won't have a pizza, pasta or sandwich then she can't have fruit!

I need to remind them ONCE AGAIN that my daughter has coeliac disease and can't eat pizza, pasta and bread. Anyway what's wrong with fruit?

Gotta love the brilliant people that are taking care of our kids during the day... I would love for either of mine to ask for fruit... It's not going to happen, but I can dream.

Regardless of your daughter's health issues, wtf?!

I would get down and thank the lucky stars above if my daughter wanted to choose fruit before pizza! (which is why I pack my daughter's lunch myself) Goodness gracious that's ridiculous! I am absoulutely thrilled fruit is even an option at your daughter's school.

Hope it went well!

How can anyone question a child for wanting to eat fruit. That's just crazy.

UK schools are really into healthy eating, they have to provide fruit and they no longer sell carbonated drinks.

The problem is that often the only thing on the menu my daughter can eat is baked potato and she gets sick of it so sometimes she asks
for double fruit. I think that , because we get state assistance with cost of meals they assume that we can't make sensible dietary decisions.

It's laughable because they have jist installed an amazing biometric system which identifies pupils by finger scan to prevent dinner money fraud but they can't buy a bag of gluten free pasta

Geez! That's backwards. You'd think they would be pushing the fruit, not the pizza and pasta. Unless, of course, they're members of some alien sect that wants to eliminate us.

Give 'em hell, Toadee!

Sorry I didn't get to visit sooner. Good luck to you and Morgetron in the blog interview competition.
