shamelessly cut and pasted from KB, read? me?

The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. Well let's see.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Reprint this list in your own journal/blog so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them ;-)

I am impressed though...do ya think we have read so many more than the average person because we are writers and...well....of course because we are above average intelligence?

Hi,
Haven't been blogging for a while but I thought I'd drop by and saw this and have added it to my blog (hope you don't mind). I beat you by 4 books (I think. Reading doesn't make you good at adding up unfortunately) ;-)

so glad you are around Selfconfessed although I feel that 4 books is but a narrow margine (especially if i stop reading tacky stuff and read some classics)
