Goodbye to a friend
Our dog, bradley passed away early hours of Monday morning. I think it was a peaceful passing, I hope so.
We still don't know what was wrong with him but we will get the results of the tests in about 5 weeks and then we will know if we need to get checked out.
Bradley was less than 5 years old and it was terrible to see him so ill.
We cremated him yesterday (cremation was the only choice due to infection risk) and we have him in his urn with some flowers.

Get back!
My poor dog is very poorly, the vet thought it might be cancer but now they have found a myco-bacteria, I'm unclear what this means but we have to contact our doctor as it can be passed to humans and some myco-bacteria are classed as notifiable diseases (the most well know being tuberculosis)Once they have confirmation we will all have to be screened.
The poor dog (Bradley) is so weak he can hardly stand and it is likely that he won't survive the surgery and tests he has to have.
We have to tell people that there is a possibility of communicable disease in the house and babies, the elderly and people with poor immune systems should stay clear.

A challenge for you all
my job, over the past few days, has been servicing sanitary bins in offices and clubs. What a wonderful opportunity to explore the forbidden territory of the ladies toilets hehe.
I needed to service the facilities at a lap\pole club but when I arrived the only person there was one of the dancers, recently arrived from Latvia her grasp of English was fairly basic and she didn't have a clue what I wanted to do.
Here is your challenge: How would you convey, through word and gesture what your job was?
I might tell you how I did it if you are good!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I started my year in the very pleasant surroundings of Oulton Hall hotel surrounded by lots of resonably wealthy people, I hope the affluence rubs off a little.
Met some jolly nice people (congratulations on your engagement and your amazing win Julia and friends hehe)
